My Pre-K Graduate

Well tonight officially marked another milestone in my life. My sweet Avery girl has graduated from Pre-K and is Kindergarten bound. WOW, I seriously am seeing them grow like sunflowers in front of my own eyes. This is when I wish I could push pause on the "time" button or at least slow it down a little.
Avery was so happy tonight to shine big at her pre-k graduation and sing songs of Jesus as her star and best friend. Sure to delight this mommas soul and heart. I am thankful for a wonderful pre-k year where Avery has grown and learned so much.
So here is to my shining star, my sweet pea! We love you Avery girl! :)

A Mommy Favorite

Yesterday I had a Mother's Day Tea with my sweet Avery girl. These are some of my most favorite things to do as a mom. Well, yesterday we were not only served a little yummy snack and beverage but a song to follow. Next, she made me two very sweet cards. One had decorations of flowers with a black and white photo of her and the other card was a description of who and what kind of mommy I was. OK, so I took a picture of the card so you could read what my sweet 2nd baby girl thinks of her mom.

(here is what the card says)
My mom is 50 years old. She has brown hair and greenish eyes.
Her favorite thing to do is ride her bike. (i don't even have a bike)
She is really good at washing the dishes.
She's not very good at piggy back rides. (nope, that's dads job)
I think she's special because she helps me make stuff.

Sweet Laughter for Sure! :D

A Little about A Lot

So that's how I feel about my life right now!
A little....
excited
nervous
anxious
tired
hopeful
ready
blessed
thankful
fun
joy

and so much more! I will remember this.

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again, Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:4-7
